Mae Hamilton is an assistant editor at AFAR. She covers all things related to arts, culture, and the beautiful things that make travel so special. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she joined AFAR in 2021 after stints at Character Media and Dirt.
A native Texan, she now lives in the Los Angeles area and enjoys surfing, attempting to play clawhammer banjo, and proofing bread in her free time. In her humble opinion, there’s no better travel-related feeling than wandering a quiet neighborhood of a new city.
